Track day cars

Anybody know where these can be bought?

 

I mean things like old race cars (Fiesta's, Leon's etc.) from either one make series or others that have been stripped out and are looking for new homes?

 

I want one!

have you tried "motorsports" under the classified section on pistonheads?

 

I'm sure theirs a magazine called "road and track" or "road and race" that has a classified section too. i'll see if i can find it

Really depends what you want to spend and whether or not you don't mind getting wet when it rains. For my money something along the lines of a Caterham/Westfield is an ideal trackday weapon.

I'd rather not get wet, but me and a couple of mates are thinking of getting something. So maybe £6-9k I'd guess. Something cheap but fun.

You should be able to get an half decent Westy or Caterham for that. Speak to Steve B. He has one and should be able to help.
