longsh07
So basically my MK2.5 MX5's clutch is on the way out and im starting to look for a replacement now so I know what I want when I need to replace it. The car is going to be used both on the road and for the occasional track day so I don't want a clutch that's going to be horrible to live with in potential stop start traffic but that isn't going to melt at the first site of a bit of track driving. I also find the clutch pedal on the MX5 to be really light so I am mainly asking if there is a way to improve the pedal feel and add a bit of weight to it? From what I've looked into so far, fitting a braided line, some fresh fluid and either an exedy stage 1 or stage 2 clutch combined with either an OEM or light weight flywheel would be the way to go? Ekona
Lightened flywheel is a must in these cars, it transformed my NA car. Exedy Stage 2 clutch should give you the feel you're after, or certainly any 6 puck clutch certainly will.
