Tricky-Ricky Posted August 5, 2014 Share Posted August 5, 2014 As i said in my add i used to run a service refuting them, mine is, but the brushes have not been replaced as they where within spec, the commutator has been skimmed and undercut, and the brushes lubed to prevent sticking, however i cannot guarantee it will not succumb to the same problem they all suffer from, as IMO they should have been vented to prevent carbon build up, most new motors will usually do about 30-40k before exhibiting problems, so should do that.
