Rachel1983
Hi, wondering if anyone can help me here! I want a replacement exhaust that sounds similar to the standard one without the Nissan crazy prices...I don't want to draw attention and like the loudness and pitch of the old exhaust....any one have any ideas? :-)
Jp606
Second hand OEM replacement or a Milltek is pretty quiet. Edited August 4, 2014 by Jp606
MITZ@CougarStore
I'd say the Milltek if you wanted to try and keep the exhaust quiet, let us know if we can help...
Rachel1983
Is the Milltek not as expensive?
MITZ@CougarStore
The Milltek is stailess steel, the Nissan is mild steel, but from cat back I believe the OEM is dearer...
Tarmac@TarmacSportz
Scorpion is cheaper and pretty quiet if its just a back box and mid pipe http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/products.aspx?CategoryId=32850911-9f8a-43e4-a5fc-24678e254d1d
Rachel1983
I have already got the mid pipe, will they bolt straight onto it? Am I making sense? 😠
Grundy
Scorpion is cheaper and pretty quiet if its just a back box and mid pipe http://www.tarmacspo...fc-24678e254d1d +1 on this, probably the cheapest and quietest. It would be cheaper in the long run getting the mid section, as the OEM is prone to breaking.
MITZ@CougarStore
I have already got the mid pipe, will they bolt straight onto it? Am I making sense? í ½í¸ You'd need the middle and rear as the OEM mid wont join to any aftermarket system as they all come with a new mid pipe... Easy fit, Any videos so I can get a good Idea, really don't want to sound like a chav, how does it differ to the original exhaust Also any ideas on how to get door dints removed or if they can't? A Dent master may be able to pull them out, there's usually a local one knocking about I had a Scorpion on my Zed, I found it too quiet but if you want something that's close to OEM and don't want to break the bank then it's a good option. Lead time is usually about a week and its a good quality well built exhaust. Tips are slash cut so look a bit different to OEM ones but apart from that its very similar

HEADPHONES
I can't help with the back box but as for dents in the door/parking dings I highly recommend www.dent-specialists.co.uk They are based in Bolton but will come to north and central Manchester. I'm based in South Manchester and it only took me 25 mins to drive to their Saturday drop in clinic in Bolton. If you go to them in Bolton you'll get a much better price. They advertise £40 per ding but did 4 dings in my door for £50! The discount is better if there are multiple dings on the same panel. Call Paul Martin there on 07779660345 and tell him the Chinese guy with the orange Zed recommend you Edited August 4, 2014 by HEADPHONES

AMT
No probs on the exhaust, as soon as its on I'll be able to let you know. I myself wanted something similar to standard just a bit more throaty (but not too much just a bit more growl) and for it to be ok when driving normally. (Not that its 'refined' anyway with its tyre and rear arch noise when raining...radio!) lol I'll let you know!
