GARGOYLE
Today I took my zed to get gearbox and diff oil replaced, I asked them to use nissan products and some additives, what a difference it makes to the gear change and the diff is quieter. The car only has 46000mls on a 55 plate so I would guess that it might not have been done before. I would recommend to any new owners to do this as the difference from before to after is amazing. veeg33
I'm thinking of getting mine done, where's Horsham Developments located? And what's the damage to the wallet? 😀 was it with Nissan original oil or special oil? Edited August 2, 2014 by veeg33

Link: http://www.h-dev.co.uk/contact_us.php They use genuine Nissan gearbox oil with Molyslip gearbox additive added at the same time to improve gear changes further. Diff oil again was genuine Nissan stuff. Was about £54 for the service pack to do the gearbox oil change and about £25 for the diff oil. I'm in West Yorkshire 😢 do you happen to know any good ones around this area?
Commander
'Good ones'? Do you know what's involved in changing gearbox oil and diff oil? 4 bolts! Undo fillers, undo drains, wait for oil to drain, redo drains, add oil, redo fillers. You hardly need to be an uber 350z specialist to manage that! Why not do it yourself? WhackyWill
Zmanalex does a kit which includes Gearbox oil, Diff oil and Molislip very reasonably priced and its easy to do yourself or take it to your local garage who have a ramp and for £20 they will do it.

veeg33
Thank you guys! I wish I can do it myself but can't really do it by the street! Best to take it to someone who knows what they are doing and learn whilst they are doing it. Will defo do it myself once I buy a house with a double garage. Zmanalex kit sounds like the one for me. Been noticing the gearbox starts to make some clicking noise during gear change, hope a oil change will improve things.
