Would appreciate any help guys cheers I think he may have to stretch a bit if he wants a manual, but you will probably get something for £4500-£5k that is mechanically sound but needs a little tlc bodywork wise, i reckon you could get an auto for that as they are not as popular and only imports. WhackyWill
Good Luck... :scare: Here's the good news, he certainly will only get a low tax bracket one.. :surrender:
BillyZed
I got mine for 5k with 77k mileage and full service history. Most zeds are overpriced so shouldn't be an issue for that price
brillomaster
high mileage import it is at that price, or could maybe consider a cat d depending on what he plans to do with it.

coldel
I think Billy had the seller at gunpoint - that or had some very interesting pictures of the seller that could potentially fall into the wrong hands There are something like 180 Zeds for sale on AT last time I looked - I would have a guess about 2 of them are under £4500 - so you are getting effectively the bottom 1% of cars out there in the market. It could be ok, but it will be a very early import or massive high miler.

lbeddowscbr
i paid £6k for my 54 Reg with 75k on the clock. thought that was a steal as it only needed a little bit of work. tbh you may get one come up if a seller is very desperate to sell quick
benjy88
I paid £4,500 for mine, on a CAT D, with 44,000 miles on a 54 plate. It's been bullet proof!! To be fair there was a bit of 'haggling' involved.

incredibl
I would suggest save up just a bit more, it'll be worth the wait. I've had lemons before, and there's nothing worse than seeing the car stuck on the driveway cos it constantly needs work.
Lee D T
I have a 2003 manual for sale at the moment with 54000 miles on it, it won't be going for any less than £5200 though, fully serviced and needs nothing.
StevoD
I bought my Jdm 03 manual with 100k in 2012 for £5.2 with nismo wheels

mouthwash
Haven't bothered looking at any of the other links but the first one: V5 document shows as recorded accident damaged/ substantially repaired cat c That's why it went just under 4 I guess.
