ts743
Today my airbag light illuminated and has remained on, flashing. I turned it off by doing the ignition trick, but it came back on after several miles of driving. I really don't want to take it to Nissan, is there anything I can do myself to remedy or pin point the issue? Are code readers available for our cars and can anybody recommend one? I'm assuming this would be my first port if call, but this is my first Nissan, so not sure how thorough their diagnostics are or if it will be much help in this scenario. All advice welcomed... the little flashing light is quite annoying!
ChrisS
Have you moved the seats ? If so check the connectors underneath.
ATTAK Z
Have you moved the seats ? If so check the connectors underneath. When I suggested this to the last guy who asked, his response was "I didn't know you could" lol

ts743
Do the reset again Seems to have done the trick, 30 miles and no light...
Sam Mcgoo
Very common fault. If anything rolls under the seat, you move them for vacuuming etc... A wiggle and a reset normally does the trick.
GT Driver
Had the same issue, left a 7up bottle on the passenger footwell afternoon. During a spirited acceleration it rolled back in under the seat and hit the connectors. Clip them back firmly again, did the reset, and result!
