JurassicZ
Local garage is removing my w-brace today and I am going to clean it up, hammerite and waxoil it. He suggested to keep her looking great underneath to waxoil the whole car. He is prepared to do this unlike most garages as it's a bit of a s****y job. Anyone on here had this done by a garage, what do you reckon is a fair price?
-Bradders-
I'd say at least 3-4 hours labour time?
Lexx
There are so many better products than Waxoil. I hate the stuff. Every time you work on the underside of your car for the next 10 years you'll end up covered in the stuff. I use POR15 for any underseal. If your car is a UK car it shouldn't need anything as it comes under sealed from the factory. If you insist on Waxoyl then it's normally around £200-300 depending on size of car. Looks very clean underneath and will only be a summer rounaround, but to improve longevity? If you insist on Waxoyl then it's normally around £200-300 depending on size of car. JurassicZ
£35.00 for sandblasting and powder coating the W-Brace and £150.00 for cleaning and waxoiling. Sounds good to me, so I think I will move forward with this.
