Jp606
I like that, so ridiculous but looks awesome. What's with those tiny little green cone filters all over the engine bay?
GMballistic
That does sound like an awesome spec.
Floydbax
SVM make some awesome bits of machinery. One of their GTR's did almost 228mph at one of the VMax's.
GMballistic
I like that, so ridiculous but looks awesome. What's with those tiny little green cone filters all over the engine bay? To do with the breather system for the engine ~ crankcase breather system and OCC most likely. My bet.
Peak 370
9.9@144? Pah, I had a 4-cylinder that did a best of 9.33@153. I only got £8,000 when I sold it, too! Docwra knows what it was, but how good value does that sound? Edited July 21, 2014 by Peak
WhackyWill
Still Cool..
Bems
Peak 370, come on then what was it?
Peak 370
It was an ageing US-spec Kawasaki ZX14. (ZZR1400 in Europe). Dropped compression to 8-1, but with an IHI small turbo running modest boost for 250 bhp. It did 9.33 @153 and 5 other runs under 9.5 (The next owner fitted a bigger turbo, with raised boost and a bigger intercooler for 350 bhp). That will be fun... Peak 370
Due to the shape it would do 210mph with 250 bhp. 350 bhp strangely, added just 15 mph, the new owner said.
grahamc
Full build thread for the Qashqai http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/175782-svm-release-project-qashqai-r.html
un1eash
Qashqai should be the next car Nissan give the Nismo treatment after they've sorted the Juke Nismo RS. It will either have around 210bhp from the 1.6 dig-t or maybe 300bhp as some are suggesting.
