Ewen@Clark Motorsport
Were off to (a hopefully sunny) Knockhill again this weekend for rounds 4 and 5 of SLS. Supporting Keith Cowie in his R35 GTR whos currently second in the championship. We have new Tein suspension fitted this week which we are hoping will improve lap times. We are there for Saturday and Sunday so if anyone's coming along pop over and say hello

Ewen@Clark Motorsport
** Rounds 4 and 5 Update ** Round 4- Anti clockwise (Saturday) Keith started the day in real wet damp foggy conditions, during the morning we wondered if the day would be cancelled! Fog cleared came back again and rained on and off all day. With the new Tein suspension we ran full soft and dropped the tyre pressures accordingly Even still Keith had a job to get the power down with all the standing water. He managed 6th overall and 3rd in class with a time of 1:03:615 Round 5 – Clockwise (Sunday) Cloudy but dry start to the day, slight standing water in the in the first practise with plenty over steer due the long session and 8+laps With the Toyo R888’s overheating and started to go off. Tyre pressure and suspension setting changed Keith went out going quicker and quicker. He was quickest in class in practise and going quicker but with two Evo’s hot on his heels it was going to be close. In qualifying Keith managed a personal best of 56.851 his fastest time yet the suspension making a huge difference to how the car felt. Not forgetting it Is still a full weight road car against full on race trim motors. Less than a second separated the top three in class. Then in the final Wayne Sutherland managed quicker just beating Keith by less than 300ths of a second. It was close all day, Keith came second in class although his time was unbeaten in class. Well done to Keith and looking forward to the final in September
