Potential-zed-owner
Hi all, I'm currently considering a purchase of my 'dream' car before settling down with the old ball and chain. Been considering quite a few different cars, but am about 90% sure of a 370z, but don't know anyone with one and am quite conscious of changing from front wheel to to rear wheel drive ( currently drive an Audi A3) especially in Scotland in winter! I've heard that the standard exhaust's not got the best tone and should be one of the first mod's to get done also. Anyone got any recommends for a particular unit? And know any Nissan specialists in Glasgow or surrounding area? Pretty keen to avoid dealerships and their inflated prices, and also know of any other recommended mod's and possible budgets. Around £1k for new exhaust supplied and fitted? Will only be using car for evening n weekend fun and got my eye on a Black Edition at the moment. Will be looking to buy in about 6 months time. Thanks in advance for any help :-)

Potential-zed-owner
Thanks. Are Infiniti not part of the dealership network though? I've got an independent garage that's looked after my cars for years, but don't think they'd be much use giving specialist advice on exhausts and other Nissan specific mods. Trying to budget for things just now before the bank manager gets a call!
Potential-zed-owner
Cheers ZMANALEX. Been looking in here for info and seen your name mentioned a few times. You any ideas on exhausts at all? Seen Nismo and Milltwk mentioned a few times but sub-1k exhaust would reallyneedto be doable to come in on budget. From what I can gather the Nismo unit's more like 1.5k. Nismo exhaust is a great bit of kit but fairly quiet, as is the Miltek. If you're looking for a sub £1k system, a lot of people like the Invidia Gemini. If you can pay a bit more, I'd go for Stillen or Ark. Other good systems include Berks, Cobra, (and plenty more). gstraw
welcome. good to see someone else from glasgow also! i have used simons exhausts in EK- he is really good and has worked on a few zeds. also Automek have had great reviews also in EK for tuning and handling mods. In terms of exhaust, i have gotten a decent sound from removing my mid silencers and putting on berks cats- about £500 all in.
