MCook
Found the reason my front drivers side tyre keeps deflating.. Never spotted it until I bought the car! pictures: Is something like this repairable? If so can anyone recommend a good wheel refurbishment company in the Fareham/Portsmouth area? I was planning to get each alloy re-painted and DE-CURBED.
jkyb
No way, that's absolutely nothing! I had an alloy once that was pretty buckled and chipped. Took it to a local (South West) welding specialist and for £60 it was repaired and balanced perfectly. If you don't know of any nearby and none come up on here, call a local tyre specialist and see if they can recommend one.

I was going to pop it down my local tyre place, but wasn't sure if they deal with alloy repairs, I'm only 18 and not insured on it for another week. (when I am 19!) So trying to get it sorted in the space of a week, only my mum can drive it at the moment but she won't do anything without me being there, hard when I am working! jimboy2
The wheel specialist in Faerham are quite expensive but worth every penny. They done my wheels a few months back on my old car and they looked better than new. Think it was nearly 100 quid a wheel tho Edited July 13, 2014 by jimboy2

Rock_Steady
i'd check the beads haven't gone in the inner tyre/rim wall. But that does look like the offending article from the pic.
marzman
Maybe consider replacing the wheel. You should be able to find one sub £150.

I can recommend The wheel Specialists, I had my Zed alloys refurbed at the Manchester unit, nearly 18 months ago and they still look like new. They have had some good references, for various units across the UK, here on this forum.
