Peak 370
Downsides. Putting a lot of miles on the clock of the 370 and the wife reminding me that she totally dislikes low-profile tyres and road noise on long journeys. Upsides. Meeting quite a few mates in the Highlands (whilst she meets and walks with hers) and doing some serious hooning in the glens. Driving my buddy's 1,012 bhp Dodge Viper and his 57 Chevvy. Happy days. Rock_Steady
1012 hp rear wheel drive :scare: on what will probably be a wet road (Scotland) :scare: It's enough to make me feel still, very though!
Wayne370Z
We`re off over to Lincolnshire today for the weekend to see the wifes family. Downside. We`re not going in the 370 because she reckons we`ll need more than 2 seats. Upside. It`ll only cost half as much in fuel in her Mokka. Sad times though. Peak 370
Do you rate the Mokka? She has spoken of getting one.
Peak 370
Yes the Dodge (a mate in America has one with 1237 bhp) is a crazy drive. It runs std gearing, so once the turbo lag has gone it just slaughters the ratios like they were on a trials bike.
Wayne370Z
Yeah, the Mokka`s quite nice if you want that type of car. She has the 1.7 turbo diesel. It`s not too slow when you put your foot down and 50 odd mpg and £30 a year road tax. The wife loves it and I think it`s quite a pleasant drive just not quite as much fun as the Zed !
