Peak 370
Does anyone else have problems with this forum only? 1 in 4 letters or spaces does not work first time for me. Yet e mails and other forms are fine. Weird!
Stutopia
Same issue in a different web browser?
Paddy78
Peak, it seems to be an issue with Internet Explorer 11... really f**cking annoying. Use FF or Chrome instead! Edited June 26, 2014 by Paddy78
14N
Think it's a general IE issue.
Peak 370
Could we get a spell checker put on here to help?
Lexx
All browsers now include an automatic spell check. The typing issue the OP has is a compatibility issue with IE and the forum software. It is out of the teams hands as we are not the developers. We update and patch the forum software regularly and if the developer releases a fix then it will be applied. IE is the devil though and should be ditched as soon as possible.
Peak 370
Sorry, I meant a ''word suggester'' like many sites have. It will suggest or even complete a word for you. I had to re-type over 60% of this post, eg. It's maddening. It has to put some people off posting.
Lexx
What browser are you using?
cmck13
Had exactly the same problem for years using IE, on advice from this site I transferred to google chrome and it stopped this issue, I think firefox is is an alternative as well.
Peak 370
IE I believe, computers are really not my strength. Would a change to something else not alter tons of stuff I know and understand? Edited July 1, 2014 by Peak
Lexx
Chrome will import all your bookmarks and favourites. You can also just not use it if you didn't like it. IE will remain on your computer.
cmck13
No you can hop from one to another if you really needed to depending on what you make your default browser, but it should not change anything existing on your computer. Lexx above has just beaten me to it.

Jetpilot
If I am using my tablet and reply to a quote as soon as I start to type something beginning with I, is it or in for example, the cursor jumps to various places with the quote as soon as I type the next letter after the I, anyone else get this? cmck13
Just to clarify, your saying its only on the letter "I",and only on this site and no others?
WhackyWill
I use Firefox for the Forum only and never a problem, I use Chrome in another window for other applications. I try and avoid IE if I can.
Jetpilot
Just to clarify, your saying its only on the letter "I",and only on this site and no others? Only this forum and only when quoting someone, I on its own is fine, but just as I typed the s on is, it jumped up into the quote! Lexx
Tablets are a sketchy thing with regards to using full sites, as their interface is designed for PC's. The forum does run a mobile device friendly option which works well. And there is also TapaTalk (although granted TapaTalk seems to be getting worse with each update the developers do).
