bytespc Posted June 26, 2014 Share Posted June 26, 2014 Hi peeps, just driven back via the most fraught m25 journey ever, stop start stop start and the pedal went right to the floor, still had bite and pull but just really short pedal, finally got into fast traffic on the A3 and the pedal returned and fine all the way home, is this just my car telling me to replace my clutch fluid ? I had a similar issue with mine and once replaced (with also a braided line and fluid) it has not happened since. Edit: I think Clark Motorsport sell a kit. Do yourself a favour and replace both: Yes, it's usually just the slave, but the cost of the extra part is peanuts compared to the cost and time of bleeding the system through. Dynamic Turtle Posted June 27, 2014 Share Posted June 27, 2014 Also check that both of your radiator fans are spooling up and maintaining the correct RPM as these are obviously rather useful in keeping fluids cool in stop-start traffic, on hot days!
