zabba
2006 Lotus Exige S2 NA Nice!!!!! Yep, it was a very special car, difficult to live with on occasions but an amazing drive. Had to sell to buy a house, but will have another, hopefully with a supercharger.

dpbayly
You might catch up if i stick to my plan and keep my Z for a while, I do like the X5's i actually for a little while had 2 at the same time the silver one which was an lpg converted 4.4 V8 and also a blue 3.0 diesel and believe it or not the lpg 4.4 v8 was a lot cheaper to run than the diesel and a whole lot more fun, it would oftern catch little boy racers out in there maxpower corsa's and saxo's with its 0-60 time of 7seconds for a big old lump thats not bad going. on a side note when you quote someones post you need to add your text before or after the quoted section otherwise your post gets a bit lost in the quote your using

I regret that there was alcohol involved..... Interesting what you say about the 4.4 as I was targeting a diesel on the back of having run the resolutely 20mpg mazda cx7 for a year, but if I could find an LPG converted 4.4 that could be an interesting alternative, yes. If or should I say when I get another one because I bought the last one as we had a baby on the way which we unfortunately lost last year late on in the pregnancy so I'll get another for sure when we have then next one on the way because my wife loved driving it as it made her feel safe on the road, Anyway i would only look at lpg converted 4.4's because I would average 25-26mpg in the diesel x5 at £1.35 a ltr and in the 4.4 I averaged 18-19mpg but it only cost £0.67 a ltr so that gave me a cost equivalent to 32-33mpg and compared to the diesel its so much more fun to drive also looking after a lpg system is simple too a couple of filters and that's it, I bought the software for my system for the laptop so i could keep an eye on things and adjust the pressure to keep it at optimum but i never actually needed to adjust it in the 10 months I ran it.
