Lexx
With LakeZ and the Z32 25th anniversary meet coming up, I thought I should give the 300zx a good polish. It really needs a respray to be honest as it's stone chipped to buggery. Since I don't have the time for that at the moment a polish will have to do. Fished out all my detailing gear, and set about figuring out which stuff to use this time. Started off with Blizzard snow foam. This came with my Snow Lance, and I'm just using it up before starting on Bubbly Jubbly. It looks good on first application. But it has to be applied neat to get any decent foam, and it breaks down too quickly for my liking. The car had been given a full clay only 3 months ago. So a once over with some Tardis was all it took to remove a few contaminants and the previous wax. That left me with paint that looked like this. Started of with a Lake Country Finishing pad and Menzerna 85RE. Couple of passes with that proved ineffective. Time to up to Lake Country polishing pad and Menzerna 203S. This worked well although some RDS remained. I didn't have a harsher pad/polish available so that had to do. Went over the whole car with 203S and then again with 85RE. Next was Poorboys Black Hole. Amazing stuff. And so easy to apply. Topped with Poorboys Nattys Liquid Blue Finished with some Nanolex trim rejuvenator. Amazing stuff (Half and half pic) Finished!

Limey
That car is beautiful. In fact when I was a teenager that was one of the few cars that I always drooled over.
