daveallen1999
Hi, I have left the windows down on my 350Z just to listen to the sound of the exhaust for the last five days. Sounds great on start-up and above 4000rpm. So glad I got it!

Is this true ? I think they put you pretty borderline on the emissions test but if you warm them up thoroughly before the test you should be OK. GMballistic
if you can stretch it, get berks HFCs with cobra system, the sound is spell-binding (dribbles) Planning to get the Cobra HFCs instead, I know they are more expensive and I have heard there are problem with berks HFCs on the MoT. Is this true ? Not true imo. My car has an Invidia Gemini exhaust system with Berks HFC's and it flew through the MOT with no problem in May this year. It wasn't even close on failing the emissions test so I wouldn't worry. I did take it for a drive to warm it up first but by the time it had the emissions test it was a good 40-50 minutes later as I had to wait a bit before my MOT started so I doubt it made much of a difference to the results.
big_joe
Surely the point of HFCs is that they pass an MOT, otherwise you'd just fit much cheaper decats? Edited June 22, 2014 by big_joe
