BLINDS122000
Hi all My front bumper is starting to look a mess with millions of stonechips and also there seems to be a split near the badge. I dont really want to change the OEM look too much. I do like the Nismo V1 bumper but I have the HR model and believe the washer jets dont fit but without them they will fail MOT? Anybody have any good ideas for replacement? Cheers Alex
jumping350
you could cut holes in the V1 for the jets?? have a look here http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/72458-nismo-v2v3-and-headlamp-washers/ Edited June 18, 2014 by jumping350

AliveBoy
My V2 has the mounting points for washer jets, it shouldn't be a tough job to make the holes for them.
Payco
As Bulletmagnet suggests, re spray. Should only be about £200.00. Payco
hensh65
Aftermarket bumpers don't have any space for washer jets, I don't think they have been a problem passing MOT
KyleR
The V1 is the same shape as the OEM bumper so the washer jets will fit perfectly once the hole is cut out But according to the mainland MOT procedure, the washers only have to work if fitted, so if you fit a V1 without washers, you can't fail for them not working if they're not fitted Over here in NI ours states differently, it says where HID headlights are fitted, the car MUST be fitted with headlight washers which must work. But on Saturday I got through the MOT with my V2 and no washers. The tester asked if I had washers, I said no, they asked if they were aftermarket lights, I said no, I passed
Keyser
JDM does not have washer jets out of the factory - They pass MOT. Mine has never failed MOT for no washer jets either (aftermarket bumper)
BLINDS122000
Cheers for the replies If im ok not to have the washers for MOT then great, because i find them a pain anyway and don't use them. Might go for the V1 replicas RT Performance are selling Edited June 18, 2014 by BLINDS122000
