skahigh
Looking at this post in the zeds for sale section I noticed the plastic around the door handle seems to have a lot of little scratches. My car suffers exactly the same as well paint having come off the button to open the compartment above the stereo. Is this a common problem to all zeds, a particular model year or just an odd coincidence? My car is not exactly heavily used at only 34k miles in 7 years! I havn't been able to work out how to get the button off the centre compartment door.
Ridz
This is a common problem, frequently reported here on the forum. The Zed interiors are quite vulnerable to scratches and general wear and tear. If you use search, you will find that:- Plastidip isn't that durable. Sanding down and then matt black paint spray is a cost effective option. Wrapping/hydro dipping seems to be the most durable option If it helps, I recently removed the drivers side interior door pull, sanded it down and sprayed it matt black. It now looks great and I'm pleased with the overall appearance. I was rather hesitant to do this, but using the guides on the forum, I found it quite easy to do. It;s worth trying it for the improvement it makes..

I havn't been able to work out how to get the button off the centre compartment door. Cost for hydro dipping the drivers side switch/door pull panel, passenger side switch/door pull & passenger side grab handle was £70 all in from AquaGraphix for the 3 parts on my Zed. Link: http://www.aquagraphix.co.uk/ Link to my thread about it; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/86048-hydro-dipped-interior-parts-door-pulls-grab-handle/ Very easy to remove them all. You can see part of it done in my thread but for a more thorough explanation have a look at the link below. It's for doing a speaker install but shows you exactly how to remove the door pulls etc. Link: http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/front_speakers/ Hope that helps.
