Dave-350
Ok, so as some of you can relate, finding somewhere that will service your car when its slammed to the floor can prove difficult. Im heading over to Nissan, Waterloovile Friday to see if they can get my car on their ramps (They explained they have a GTR setup for servicing which is low entry, but I cant imagine its that low.) Any other reputable garages in Hampshire that carry out P3 services that I can try? I don't want some back street garage and ideally a Nissan specialist would be ideal, any suggestions? Grundy
Just take some blocks of wood with you. Or find a garage with one of those ramps which is level with the ground so you can just drive straight onto it.
ddcboyle
I had same issue when I had my v2 bumper, I didnt go to nissan specialists for service though I just got a list of garage numbers around the area, phoned and asked. 1 garage out of 15 could do it. May be worth doing that before driving to each one
Dave-350
Maybe I will take some wood with me and just explain that if they drive it, to watch out. Last time a garage took my car they drove it into a kerb and smashed my V2.
Grundy
Take the V2 off, Raise it?
Dave-350
Take the V2 off, Raise it? Because that is a 2 second job isn't it?
Grundy
Take the V2 off, Raise it? Because that is a 2 second job isn't it? Quicker than sourcing a new bumper and re-spray I know it's a ball ache to do, and I probably wouldn't either. But it's still an option
Dave-350
I would still have the issue of the skirts and the Y-Pipe/sump grounding out though as this is just as low
KyleR
Go look at the places, some places won't have the ramp between the uprights so you can just drive right in, others have a ramp that the wheels sit on, so again, no ramp to drive over and smash your sump
Dave-350
Yea I will take a look at WKB Nissan Friday afternoon. Hopefully all will be ok! Any idea of P3 cost from Nissan?

KyleR
I got my P3 at Nissan for about £250 i think it was and that included an additional couple of things I wanted them to have a look at sorting.

Depends on what you want from the P3 - Because most stuff are optional extra's. http://www.h-dev.co.uk/index2.php?page=350ZServicing I'd use that as a price guide, then adjust to 'nissan pricing'
BulletMagnet
I take these with me to my local garage

KyleR
I take these with me to my local garage Do you need 2 sets to get the car off the other side of the cross ramp thing? Or do the CSBL skirts have enough clearance, just the Varis lip thats too low?
BulletMagnet
We always put the Zed on the four-poster lift, cos car is too low for two poster, mainly cos of the Chargespeed Sideskirts. I bring these ramps to put under the ramps that go up the four-poster, otherwise the sideskirts scrape badly, the front lip is just on the limit
KyleR
Ah, gotcha I think newer 2 post lifts would be fine, as they don't have much of a ramp to get over. Before I lowered the car or put the skirts on I had trouble getting over the ramp on an older 2 post.
