slickcell
That car is awesome dude, I love the little touches you've given it. Wheels are exactly what I wanted to go for - jr3, right? Are they the black chrome version or just black? Also, are they 18s? Car looks great, keep it up :-)

blaqkaudio
Cleaning up the garage last night... Found a small amount of carbon wrap I used on my gear surround last year. Rather than throw it away I just couldn't help myself cleaning was immediately put on hold and I did a thing... End result: -ignore the scratch looking part on last pic, cobweb...phew Will see how long the wrap lasts Nice unplanned mod for the evening though

blaqkaudio
Thought you'd sold up blaqkaudio!. Still got the Zed & cracking on with the mods then? Yeah still got it. The missus and I are trying hard to get our first place together so new cars are off the agenda for the immediate future Sometimes I've looked at getting something with the money I'd get for the Zed but I can't find anything as fun that ticks as many boxes. Plus I have a daily so it's only driven at the weekends, even then it's not every weekend. Replacing my potato temp phone in a few days so I'll actually have a decent camera, plenty of pics to come
GMballistic
Sounds good and good luck with getting your first place with the Mrs. Did exactly that last year and it can be difficult & expensive I know.

GMballistic
Looking good bud, how hard is it to get the B pillar trim off? I've been tempted to have a good at wrapping this myself. The B-pillar trim is held in place by 3 clips Mart, ...best off using a hairdryer first to heat it up a little before trying to remove as from what I've heard they are prone to snapping as you pull the trim off. Guide for you below... blaqkaudio
As promised, My new OnePlus 3 arrived last week – it's absolutely brilliant. Shame I can’t use its camera to take pictures of itself What's changed since… At some point I picked up a new Kode gearstick Old EPR one: New: Ditched my faded alcantra gaiters and replaced them with some fresh leather Speedo came out to be dismantled after gathering more paint and primer The end result was the speedo top being done and the internal rings which I didn’t plan on doing but had primer and paint left End result Adrian then popped up with the latest D1 throttle controller. Installed this nicely where I can quickly access it Car then went into Abbey for a pop and bang map Can’t really give you a picture of that but it sounds immense and flames from both tail ends on a good run in have been confirmed Rear was also resprayed along the way with some Nismo spats molded on as glue/adhesive wasn’t cutting it. 5mm rear spacer shims were also installed for just a little more wideness on the rear. Also lowered a tad more and stiffened the rear up a few clicks. The daily driver also received it's branding Stillen side louvres from Tarmac, sprayed gloss black and fitted Door handles now also gloss black Tegiwa harness bar – Much prefer the polished stainless steel look over the matte finish on the GC fab ones most people go for. One thing I noticed was this actually has proper harness stabilizers welded on whereas the GC Fab ones doesn’t? Anyway, it popped up on here so I jumped on that straight away. Mines front lip from Tarmac fitted Win at BHP this this year with the team Best Car Club Roughly as it stands with pics taken at different points Also have Silvatech front indicator bulbs but these haven't been fitted yet... Also found this in the garage at the weekend too – came with my Motordyne plenum spacer so I'll get round to fitting this at some point Well there you go, bits and bobs here and there, hope you guys like it Edited June 25, 2016 by blaqkaudio
GMballistic
Looks pretty good, ...one thing though I'd try to get a strap for your fire extinguisher. I'm sure it's held in tightly by the cage yes but if you were to have an accident the last thing you want is to be hit in the head by a flying 500gram-1kg missile. It's up to you obviously but I would just for safety. You can buy them from eBay, Demon Tweeks etc depending on the size of your fire extinguisher but you could also make one yourself cheaply enough from say some tough velcro strapping as you're not needing it to be FIA approved. As long as it goes all the way around the extinguisher & under the cage it would do the job. I think I may put it back under the passenger seat where it originally was, hidden and easier to access. Leaves the bar looking tidy then

Leaves the bar looking tidy then That'll definitely be a safer place for it but still it could come lose during an accident & start flying around, so I'd still strap it in somehow imo. Reason I say this is because I speak from personal experience of rolling one of my old cars at high speed down hill when I was a lot younger. I had a 1.5kg fire extinguisher which during the crash broke free of it's mountings but luckily it didn't hit me. Also had an MDF stealth parcel shelf with 2 kenwood 7"x10's in it come flying at me, ...again, luckily it didn't hit me.
harryjackson
The reason people go for the GC fabrications harness bar is because it's braced within the floor of the car. How come you haven't put the Tegiwa stabiliser bars on? Probably not too safe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How come you haven't put the Tegiwa stabiliser bars on? Probably not too safe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk But it's a 'harness bar' with no harness stabilisers? That's not safe at all, especially if you buy it with the intention to use a harness. My bar didn't come with the stabilisers unfortunately, I'm trying to source some. Anyone know anywhere?
