jackjose
Hi Does anybody know why my 2008 350z is making a rumbling noise when I release the clutch? The sound is to loud but it is still there. And does replacing the clutch make a difference to how it feels when I change the gear? Is it better to replace clutch, throw out bearing, pressure pate and flywheel together better for the car? Thanks
Flex
Its cheaper to change everything rather than doing it twice. Do it nice or do it twice
jackjose
And if I drive my car like the way it is right now, will it shorten the life of the engine and is it bad for the engine? Because right now the clutch/throwout bearing/ pressure plate and flywheel may be damaged. How is it connected to the engine?
350zedd
The clutch thrust bearing is noisy as standard so don't be too concerned if its not that loud. There are loads of videos on YouTube explaining how a clutch works. Quicker to look on there than trying to explain it here.
Paddy78
They generally make a racket with the clutch out... not worth replacing until the clutch starts to slip. You won't do any harm to any part of your car leaving it.
