Oil sump

Hi guys.

 

Anyone know where to buy a new sump and gasket for a de? Went to do my oil change and when I tightened the plug I over tightened and stripped it! Silly billy!

Nissan for the gasket although it might just be a paste? not sure. As for the sump if you don't mind a good used condition item I'd try zmanalex.

Rtv blue is what comes with the stillen sump pan, not sure what kind Nissan use but it's not an actual gasket.

Again, not sure what Nissan use, but the liquid Toyota stuff is very, VERY good. I'd use that over anything else.

If not far from me and you can get it over to me I'll happily helicoil your damaged sump for you if you cover the cost of the parts (about £2) and it'll be as good as new,
