Bems
As above guys. I have 19" LMGT4's and was going to go down the powdercoating route because none local to Aberdeen seems to do it however I just cant bring mself to do it. These wheels need to be as they left the factory IMO so I have decided to ship them off to a reputable refurbisher who does pick up & return courier service. Can anyone recomend any Wheel refurbishers. I have £350 waiting to do these although I would be prepared to pay more if the finnish is top notch.. We do have a a wheelspecialist in dyce and I did think that I would be able to go through them for the diamond cutting (sent away to a wheelspecialist branch) however they tell me that there is too much corrosion to the wheels to do this which I know to be utter bo****ks. They're just after my cash as they themselves can only do powdercoating which has put me off using them. Thanks in advance Ryan
KyleR
Throw up some pictures of the rims, I'm sure someone here will be able to let you know if they are too far gone for a diamond cut or not. I'm not expert as I've never owned diamond cut rims or had any refurbed, but I'm pretty sure they'd have to be extremely bad for a diamond cut not to be possible. Beavis
Another member has just had his nismo's done here, but I don't know how far you or they are prepared to ship. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/84025-just-had-my-nismos-refurbed/ http://www.jpalloys.co.uk/
Bems
Offshore at the mo so will when i get home but It is very mild surface corrosion that wheen cleaned scrubs up very well. They have not been recut yet so would be the first time. I've seen pics on here recently of LMGT4's in worse condition than mine although theose wheels were not in bad condition either. Bems
Yeah Beavis that was the thread that made my mind up to stick with the original plan and diamond cut them. Thay are a contender. Looking at 350Shires build thread & the first pic of the single alloy, mine are currently in no worse condition. http://www.350z-uk.c...nsion-overhaul/ Edited June 7, 2014 by Bems
