mattfinch
Hello all Changed my pads a few weeks ago and all was fine. Went to have a check of them today and noticed the little k clip that goes through the pin that holds the pads and rattle plate on has fallen out. Its only 1 k clip on the rear passanger side that has fallen out. Nissan can get me 1 but it will take a week and they want £18 for just 1 the part number is 41217A What I would like to know is do you think its ok to drive for the next week or not or what i could put in the little hole in the mean time. Thanks Edited June 2, 2014 by mattfinch
Anth4130
My dad changed my front discs and pads at the weekend and looks like the last time they were changed they lost/broke two of them. And there was split pins in their place Just use a split pin, cut it down (so its not overly massive) and fold it over and around.
Hooch
http://m.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=+pin+brembo&_pgn=1 Think some of the seller's do them on here. If you need it quick might be worth a trip to the local motor factors. These brembos are not unique to the 350z.
