Peak 370
An up rev remap and 2 air filters. Abbey. £404 fitted. Horhams £470 fitted. RS Tuning £520 fitted. Quite a difference between cheapest and dearest.
rothers2901
depending where you are situated could have a bearing where you go fuel and time costs etc
Gudzy
Don't forget TDI North in Warrington, they probably will be the closest to you for an uprev.
Paddy78
Surely you can fit the filters yourself and save something on labour?
GIXXERUK
Air filters are literally a 2 min job !
Grundy
You might want to compare prices with just the Remap. As others have said, if you can tie your shoe laces, you can change a air fliter.
Peak 370
They don't charge for fitting the filters. This car is the easiest to change filter/s on from all I can remember. Just the remap charges are the same difference.
Peak 370
I am currently rebuilding the top end of my Ducati 1198 so I can change filters.
Peak 370
So given the prices above who would you use?
Paddy78
Where do you live? I went to Abbey from Leeds based on their reputation... I wasn't disappointed. Based on the prices quoted it'd have cost as much to go to RS even though they are just down the road.
GIXXERUK
You're first post suggests 'fitted' and 2 air filters Misleading ... I'm suprised at the price difference ! Edited May 30, 2014 by GIXXERUK
GIXXERUK
Tdi north use the maps mark from abbey developed, what's you're location ?
Peak 370
Near Buxton. I am not sure of your logic. It is a two minute job, so even if they were charging for fitting we are talking about £1.50 I labour and the price comparison would remain the same. Peak 370
I think I will ask RS if they can be a little more competitive then go with Abbey if not.
WhackyWill
Do you get the same benefits from all three Companies, or are there differences in their remaps.
cmck13
Rs tuning in Leeds do the remap using software called "uprev" a specialist company in the states who deal with the 350z/370z. This remap using uprev has been done on many cars on this site, The actual price for the remap advertised on the site today is £474. Fit the filters yourself and save the £70 in fuel going down south.

Tdi north in warrington would be closer than abbey
KyleR
I don't think your price for Abbey is correct because £404 is the price of just the Uprev. Maybe they misunderstood your query and didn't include the price of filters?
Peak 370
TDI North just quoted me £453.
Grundy
Probably because you've listed all their prices on here and they're reading them right now
AliveBoy
I'd go with Horsham Developments every time, Jez is a master of his craft and is dedicated to getting the best for both you and your car, and not anything else.
Tigerzed
I paid £475 at RS Tuning last February!
RickyZ
Do you not just pay the licence cost for the uprev + dyno time on top? Wouldn't expect any garage to charge for filter fitting if you're getting other work done.
