zebedy
After two weeks of ownership I've started changing a few bits n bobs to this bog standard roadster. Hope you like. [/url] Tinted the lights all over R R New gaitor.... Ball of steel needed to do this with a 3" angle grinder Before... After....... The mats were 14 quid jobbies from spares world and riveted old heel plates from another old set of mats I had. Cleaned up the pâtés with some emery cloth. Next time fitting of an OEM spoiler off a completely different car which you'll have to wait for and front carbon splitters from an f430. Mike1989
Kudos for doing that to the handbrake, was it a bitch to do as I've contemplated this myself.
ph 7
Next time fitting of an OEM spoiler off a completely different car which you'll have to wait for and front carbon splitters from an f430. Now i'm intrigued!

zebedy
Mike nothing too daunting. But the three inch grinder only just fits under the handbrake from the passengers side without touching the central console. Just nip the widening part back until its the same width all the way through. You could cut the new sleeve down to such a length that it does not reach that lower portion on the lever.. Go for it

zebedy
Ok. It's been a few days. The rear spoiler I'm using is from a..........wait for it....... An MG ZS 180. Cost me 40 quid from eBay. Painted the ends and carbon wrapped the blade section. It fits **** on onto the roadster , is the right length And not too extreme on the height. Secondly I've wrapped the front lower section of the bumper just under the grill in the same carbon effect and I've used genuine cf splitters off a Ferrari 430 which ain't a bad fit albeit not matching the central portion of the vinyl but hey oh. Hope you like. It's changed the appearance of the car without going balls out I hope. Just subtly. Hope you all agree. Well...that's all for now. Got some nizmo badges to fit on them and to replace the Ferrari shields then that's all done. Next week....new hu, a reversing camera and a 7" android tablet into the front cubby. Cheers. Zeb. Almeida1234
First time I seen that spoiler on a zed. Will be good on a coupe too
zebedy
I may have stumbled on something here then lol. I've seen very very similar specifically for the zed for hundreds of pounds. This one is cheap as chips...fits spot on and is readily available second hand. These were produced by mg for the 180 v6 2.5 versions only. I have one and bought it for that but I offered it up to the zed and low and behold.......I thought....I just might get away with this. And I hope I did depending on all you guys thoughts???? zebedy
Been busy this week end. Fitted a cheap 70 quid head unit from eBay and tbh it's very good surprisingly. Also took the cubby out and fitted a five inch android tablet hooked into the hu. Hope you like. Next step is to fit some free air speakers into the rear panel and fit a mahooosive amp n bass driver. That's it for now Zeb
KyleR
Where the hell did you get the F430 splitters and how much?
GMballistic
Look's good Zeb apart from the Nismo badge on the spoiler imo. Doesn't look right like that. ....But as long as you like it then that's all that matters.
Arran
Id hardly say that spoiler is subtle

KyleR
Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase Remove the Ferrari badges..... Personally I'd leave them I know that goes against my hatred for other badges on cars, such as BMW badges on the wheels, but these are F430 splitters, for some reason that makes it ok
pjf1985
Ferarri badge is OK mainly because its small but the Nismo badge looks tack, doesn't look right there at all.
StevoD
Hmm im going to give my view on this and it wont be pretty but its honest, That Wing is horrific i like the v2 wings etc just that looks like its just been plonked on doesnt match the car at all and the fake carbon and fake pointless nismo badges just push it over the edges in hysterical chavness The Ferrari flaps good idea but there to big for the front bumper i dont mean they look to big i mean they dont fit the round bit should be on the corner of the bumper not on the front of the bumper and again make it look like stuff has been thrown at it with a glue gun, fair play on the originality but this time it hasnt worked Edited June 9, 2014 by StevoD

Tarmac@TarmacSportz
Some old dear asked if my GT86 was a Ferrari the other day, I wish I had those splitters on as that would have really confused her lol. As others have said not sure it compliments the Zeds lines, maybe some big aggressive wheels might help, but the only thing that matters is if your happy. Nice work on the hand brake
