from forum: I know this is a really old thread, but I left my 350z for 3 weeks while on holiday, and when I went to start it ,the radio comes up "WAIT" followed by "SECURE"..no music ,no radio,no cds, nuffin!!

This is when it needs a code, which is supplied by the dealer. To get the code, the radio must be removed, and the serial number along with the vehicle reg, given to the dealer and he can look it up "on the system".

The vehicle must then be left with the key turned to the first position until "CODE" or "INSERT CODE" is seen on the display.Apparently this can take up to 2 hrs..Mine is sitting in the drive now waiting for the message to appear.

Nissan will do all this for you but the UK price at present is £40..

This is the norm for the CLARION system.
