GMballistic
Looks like a tidy job. Cheers. I was half expecting to c**k it up tbh and drop the can of paint all over the engine (especially as I was having a pint at the time ), ...but thankfully that never happened and I kept my grip on the paint can so job was a goodun'. GMballistic
Top effort there. Been thinking about doing mine for a while... Look out for the inspired by GM thread soon That'd be fine by me. You should give it a go. All you need is; VHT paint (choice of colour, mine was gloss black) & a paint brush Masking tape & news paper Plus a beverage of your choice (mine was Carling ) Oh and some patience as masking all of it up in situ does take a while. Mopedmark
If you can get a meet on I'm sure we could bring a Posse down especially if it was a little nearer to the M4 bridge

GMballistic
Thumbs up to you GM for the pics of the plenum . Did you just hand paint it ? MikeK_g Hi Mike, yes I just hand painted it with a 1/2" paintbrush. Now it's all dried you can't see any brush strokes or anything so I'm pleased with it. Did have a few bristles stuck on it though but pulled them off and touched up those areas.

Piranha
Top job. Look's fantastic and glad this thread inspired you to do it. Thanks I'm pleased it turned out ok. Masking off took the main time, but didn't want to remove plenum so worth it. Beats sitting in doors eating chocolate all day 😀

Kudos.
