370Ad
Trying to find the topic from a few months back were a guy changed the fluid on his 70. Ordered some Motul 600 and going to give it a go at the weekend. Current plan is: Old stuff out with a syringe Fill up with new stuff Bleed until fluid is clear and no bubbles Any comments before I ruin my car?! something usually goes wrong
ross27
That may have been me! http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/82783-clutch-fluid-replacement-370z Just make sure you do plenty cycles, and do not open the bleed nipple for too long. It is simply open and close. If you leave it open you can get air in the system. Every 8 cycles or so, you will need to top up your reservoir.
370Ad
Thanks mate Did you depress the pedal then open/close or did you open press then close? Seen mixed options! Cheers
ross27
I got my Dad to pump the pedal 5 times, and then hold the pedal down. Open and close the bleed nipple. Then repeat the process. After bleeding, you may have to lift the pedal up until it builds pressure up again.

Seems easy enough actually. The only difference is on the 70 its a 8mm nut not a screw like the G35? Probably need to buy a small 8mm spanner then Edited May 21, 2014 by 370Ad
