wizurd
Evening all Just a quick piece of advice needed. I've fitted a new gear knob. Having done that found that the existing gaiter doesn't stay in place at the base of the gear knob. It can freely slide up and down. Anyone know if this is normal? Any fitting suggestions. ZMANALEX
Fit a cable tie around the shift stick and that will keep the gator up tight to the shift knob. Alex.

Wasn't sure if there was some proper fitting I needed to get or not. Cable ties to the rescue

4RE Leather
The gaiter in a zed is designed for the short OEM knob. If you exchange for a different knob and especially with a extension to the upright like I have, then you need to change the gaiter for a bigger one.
