japcarsbrett
Hi Guys, Just a quick question my OEM exhaust needs a new gasket at the back where it joins from the exhaust back box to the first mid pipe section is the gasket in between that a 3 inch gasket? Thanks
bamdc2
It's 65mm. I know this as the mid pipe is 63mm but the join is 65mm. I found this out the hard way today as I bought the wrong size from halfords!
japcarsbrett
Oh dear sorry that happened to you, thank you very much for letting me know that, i nearly bought the wrong one too thanks for that big help
bamdc2
No worries Just to note that I have a scorpion backbox so not sure if that makes the join size different. I'm pretty sure it doesn't as I have oem mid pipe

ZMANALEX
The OEM system does not have a gasket at the rear joint, it has a metal O ring however a gasket with a fire ring will do the job. Alex
japcarsbrett
really i thought it was a gasket with 2 bolts joining in to the first mid pipe? If so where would i get a new O ring?
