shaunr446
My friends son wants a ride in my car. He can't if I have air bag in passengers side. Can I / how can I remove it? Thanks
Ricey
To be clear.........you are going to entirely remove the airbag from your car to give your friends son a ride??! How old is he? Is he in a kiddie seat etc?
ZMANALEX
Easily removed or disabled, however I would not advise it in case you have an incident and you find that you may have invalidated your insurance. Alex.
Vik54
If he isn't tall enough to ride in the car without a child seat he should not be in it. The air bags are there for a reason - have you seen what happens to a zed in an accident? They are not very solid at all - you need those airbags. Ricey
Alright guys I will not be taking g it out aha. Cheers I do have a slightly different stance on child safety in cars.......stick a cushion under their arse, tell their parents you'll be very sorry if you kill/permanently maim them then take him out for a quick jaunt and try not to crash. Every last person on this forum has been a child and sat on a cushion in the front of a car at some point in their life and we're all alive FFS!
Stutopia
That was before parents were irresponsible, they were just ill informed back then. The difference being the first gets you on the front page of the mail, the second doesn't get you in at all
Jp606
Just don't crash.
BulletMagnet
Booster cushion, not like you're going off on a Pan-European excursion for a fortnight is it?
