Kraziekatz1
Hey guys Anyone have any views (good or bad) on MAZDA3 2.3T MPS? Saw them at JP fest, but didn't really notice them (bit boring looking). They use them at Thruxton for the track briefing so reasonably quick (under 6s) and don't have the Mazda rotary engine. Going to look at this one.... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201405164261548/sort/default/usedcars/model/mazda3/price-to/7000/price-from/6000/make/mazda/page/1/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/quicksearch/true/postcode/rg88dl/radius/20?logcode=p Reviews seem a bit mixed....torque issues & thirsty seem to crop up. Would appreciate your comments, Cheers M P.S. this is not to replace Z (before you all start again)....still on quest for Civic swap for hubby, Scooby on back burner as struggling to find decent one. StevoD
quick cars @*!# load of torque steer quite common for rusting very early 58 plates are showing signs Edited May 18, 2014 by StevoD
Daryl
Looked into them as a replacement for the Mrs. Very good capable cars, but needs the LSD, and still torque steers with that. Ther are boring looking, especially the mk1 ones, but i quite like that. Based on the Focus platform, so pretty good dynamically, and not much goes wrong with them i believe. .Griff.
Not a fan of the Mk1 at all. Mk2's getting much more affordable and look much superior IMO. Lots of kit included as standard too.
mouthwash
I remember a chap on the Civic forum that had one, he absolutely loved the thing. I think I would have one if I didn't have the Z I think they look okay and you get a lot of car for your money.
Desey
i have driven one, they're fast in a straight line everything else disappointing though and unbeleivable torque steer!

Ekona
Turbocharged fwd cars scrabble for grip, hence scrabble wagon. Not my phrase, but it's an accurate description
Stutopia
Makes sense. I was trying to figure out the triple word score...
