Stutopia
Before the lock, couple of tunes. I'd literally never heard anything like the Prodigy before, and nothing since. http://youtu.be/2h_7EU8FdwQ
Ekona
Keith Flint's nan used to live down my road, so met him a few times. Also Liam Howlett used to frequent the pub I worked in at the time, both him and his other half were really nice people If we're talking raves, we've got to mention Exodus. But only with the original crew, got full of muppets late on. Also... Snow! Spent a whole evening once with a mate trying to figure out the lyrics, with comedic results.

Did you go to any of the Exodus raves?? Great reputation but kept it all down South. There was enough going on in the North to occupy us Northern boys! Ekona
Yeah, did a few Exodus ones, the sandpit was my favourite location in the summer. Man, they were the days.
Jetpilot
What a great topic, nothing like reliving your youth! Gladiators was religiously watched and remember seeing Jet and Lightening at a few bike shows! My mate is married to a girl who was one of the champions and knew Phil Norman, also a champion. A couple of my best mates were top dj's but never really got into the scene although did go to a few of their sets Bizarrely enough on Friday i spotted an old school retro Bmx whilst out at my sprayers, a Diamond Back, made some enquiries and bought it cheap, just trying to identify it but think its a silver streak or hopefully a turbo, worth a mint done up so thats the plan but will keep hold of it! I used to while away hours playing Jet Set Willy on the Spectrum 64 and Donkey Kong on an Atari! Edited May 18, 2014 by Jetpilot

To think how quickly and easily this can be done now.
