Bobbyheinz
So I noticed a chip in my windscreen last weekend...grr! Anyway, I've just had it "repaired" and to be honest it looks pretty much the same (had the same experience with a Fiat Bravo a couple of years ago too). It isn't that big a deal but it annoys me! How much roughly would it cost to have the whole windscreen replaced? I've tried searching online but can't seem to find a great deal on specific costs! GIXXERUK
You're insurance should cover you're windscreen, usually with a small excess £60 or so (varies) It won't affect you're Ncb To go private will be an arm and a leg ! Check you're policy, if it isn't cracked to require a replacement, that's easily remedied Edited May 15, 2014 by GIXXERUK
Commander
You can probably do it on your insurance for £100 and no damage to your NCB? Check your policy and see what it says - there's quite a difference between the different providers I think unfortunately

GIXXERUK
Oh and check with you're ins for their chosen repairer, if you go to another they won't pay !!

Suits
I had a chip. Got it fixed. Winter came. Heaters went on. It split. Autoglass replaced the whole screen under the chips warranty. Didn't pay a single penny. Insurance company didn't care, didn't even want to know. Win. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/79684-my-windscreen-had-a-cracking-christmas/
