shaunr446
Opinions please, Looking at buying pair of outside door handles and painting black? Has anyone done this? Does it look any good? If yes any one recommend paint to use. Cheers guys

mattross1313
at you lot Yep. Many people have painted them black - Aaron just had his set done and they look spot on, check his build thread. Depends on the colour of your car IMO. I have an azure and just had my door handles colour coded, look amazing!!

BulletMagnet
Ok serious answer. Some have used PlastiDip Some have used primer and paint from Halfords Some have had them powdercoated Prep is key, many that have used rattle cans have had a decent finish tbh. Don't feel like a dick, there is no such thing as a silly question

Even I managed it myself.....WITHOUT adult supervision!
Randy_Baton
Check the 2 links in my signature. Did it the other day and have my old ones for sale. I just used Halfords grey primer and gloss black. I'll also possibly be passing through Aylesbury first Friday in June. (I'll get me coat...)

tatooandy67
Personal opinion/taste I think they look nice in black on some car colours but better when painted the same colour as the car IMO but each to their own but looking through posts on here it seems reasonably easy to DIY with rattle cans
