Stu_2424
After using a glaze by hand on my Zed before Japfest and not hiding the swirls enough I have just got a Das6 Pro with the meguiars kit (105 and 205) with an orange and white chem guys hex pad. See how we get on with that Any tips for using the DA for a first timer? Edited May 15, 2014 by Stu_2424
Bems
Don't wimp out stick with it and let the polish break down ie make enough passes on one manageable area at a time for the compound to do its thing.
Stu_2424
Well I plan on watching many videos to see how it's done before I even pick it up. What would you call many passes? And a manageable area? (I'm guessing not a whole panel?)

Stu_2424
That guide is very useful, pretty much talks you through it.how important is it to tape up beforehand? Sure I've seen videos where they didn't.
Bems
It's all in the link above. That's what I read before trying mine (same DA) for the first time. Good luck & enjoy

Daryl
I found it actually takes longer with the DA than it does doing it by hand, the difference is that you can work the polish harder, and get a better result. I thought it would save me time using a DA, but it actually took alot longer, but the results were well worth it
