For 040s I'd go a little softer, for 050As I'd stay with stock, for T1R/452 I'd go a little harder, for 888s I'd go much softer. Make sure its in the hole as sometimes you can slide it down by the shield and you think its in the hole the dipstick on a DE 350z is cr*ap design... Happened to me and I guess every other new owner. Only one way in and you need to do it in the day time, now let your mind work on that.
