Chesterfield
You can get satin ones from courtesyparts, but they are $100 !!, plus the shipping and the import duty... Anyone know how much the shipping is from courtesyparts? The duty and rate of VAT payable on items can be found here: http://customs.hmrc.gov.uk/channelsPortalWebApp/downloadFile?contentID=HMCE_PROD_009989 Just a quick note that may help. I used to work closely with the Royal Mail, and has the opportunity to visit the main parcelforce hub which receives all air mail from around the globe, they have their own Customs team in the building. You pay duty on goods valued at £7 or more, and VAT on goods valued £18 or more - however this is a per person limit. If your parcel is addressed to "Mr & Mrs X XXXXX and Family", HM customs and excise assume 2 children, so you then you pay duty on goods valued at £28 or more, and VAT on goods valued at £72 or more. So remember this next time you order something, as it could save you a few quid, and stop Mr Brown getting his hands on your hard earned!!
