-Bradders-
Ok so I've finally picked one up! Got myself a Kuro Black 350z GT Small issue that the clutch has gone on the way home, but none the less i'll bite the bullet get it done and see what happens from there. Anyway, i've got a few small plans for it to start heres some pics i gave it a wash yesterday when the sun came out, its pretty damn shiney: Thats the only photo's i have atm, Anyway as always, i have a white board in my garage. On my old honda i wrote everything for a turbo build and completed it. Anyway i'll get a pic when i can but the list so far compiles of the following: Stubby arial - Done Clear Reflectors - Done Clutch and lightened flywheel - Done New Brakes drilled grooved and paint calipers red - Done Wheels spacers 25/30mm - Done Full exhaust - Y pipes already custom - Done Tablet Install - Done Sideskirts/rear diffuser/ nismo front lip - Done Induction kit - maybe/ like the oem look for now - have cosworth filter Wheels - still looking Uprev map - to be booked! thats whats on the list so far. I'd like to maybe lower it at some point but i found out yesterday it already scrapes coming out the garage But yeah, the start of a new project. watch this space All comments welcome and love opinions and idea's too! 14N
Congrats on the purchase Brad. Although I acknowledge your use of alliteration, unless you were actually given the car, it's 'Three Fiddy'

-Bradders-
So first on the list... would this: http://www.driftwork...y-flywheel.html And this: http://www.eurocarpa...f19cce46 Be an ok set up to use? i get around 40% mechanics discount off at euro's so that would make it about £201ish.. so 500 for a decent little set up? that sounds good? and i will fit it myself so i'll save on labour costs. Or can anyone point me in a better set up for around the same price? Or something like this?: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/XTD-STAGE-1-RACE-CLUTCH-FLYWHEEL-NISSAN-350Z-G35-/111341489637?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item19ec784de5 Edited May 6, 2014 by -Bradders-

AliveBoy
Go exedy and driftworks combo, should be good, a touch noisy at idle, but nothing too horrendous.

jjt
I have a lightened flywheel, and if the revs are very low and you give it a bit of throttle you will hear the noise in the video above, particularly if the windows are down... but its not THAT loud, so go for it
-Bradders-
Cheers for the input guys! Aliveboy i just seen yours is a drifter! this will be sufficient lol.

-Bradders-
Ok all ordered and delivered, also some extra goodies i bought over the weekend: Discount much? Thanks to mouthwash for the reflectors! Some LED Canbus number plate bulbs too! need some for the front now as noticed the fronts look odd in the orangy colour compared to the zenon headlights! Now just need to find some time to fit the clutch and fly!
-Bradders-
Another update, Been bothering me since i got the car and that is the engine bay looked like dog @*!#, allow me to show you: So i got cracking with some meguirs engine bay dress up stuff lol 2 stage stuff, started taking the airbox/pipes and strut off to clean that up to considering i've never worked on a zed bay before it was pretty easy to dismantle: Hour and a half later with a micro fibre and a tooth brush: And for a comparison: Heres how she stands: I'm going to do the clutch tomorrow night and an oil/filter change too so i can actually take it for a proper blast at last! I think over the weekend i may remove the plenum and give it a good polish with the grinder and wire attachment! then possible spray it heat matte black! Thought opinions comments welcome
