Scott TMN
Hi guys, so after having an awesome weekend out enjoying the zed, on the way home driving from a mates house I noticed the EML came on, a consistant light, not flashing. The car is running perfectly, and all guages point to where they should, idle is smooth et.c. This puts me at ease a little. I'm assuming an air sensor or something must of just jumped out of its laden tree for some reason to throw the light on. I'm assuming I should peddle dance to clear it, but first I would like to see what threw the error to start with. I'm wondering the best way to go about this? Pop to a garage? Get myself a reader (although I want it now) Thanks for any advice
370Ad
Do the pedal dance and count the flashes! Then Google the code
Scott TMN
Thanks mate. Just did the pedal dance, worked first time! Very quick easy procedure although I didn't count the flashes, it seems a continuous blink is part of the procedure, so although off, I don't know what threw the error in the first place :s
Flex
Why would you do that without getting the error code? Readers are cheap, just get one and read it if it pops up again.
Scott TMN
I thought doing so will give me an error code.. My mistake. I shall look at getting one now
samsniss350z
You could save your money and record the flashes using your smartphone. This way you can concentrate on getting the timings right and then go back and watch the recording of the flashes and count them to get your code.
