SiriusProjects
My local garage are currently installing my new alpine headunit, however they have just called to say that it is all working but there is no sound. Could this be because it's not earthed enough as I have read the headunit installation thread on here and it does mentioned about splicing in additional earthing wires. Can anyone help or advise? Thanks.
370Ad
Bose Amp won't be turning on more than likely. It must be earthed if the unit is actually turning on.
SiriusProjects
How do you go about turning on the Bose Amp if that is the case?
richard.hezlett
When i fitted my Alpine head unit a few weeks back i needed to earth the head unit via the loom wire ( the wire with a eyelet crimp on the end of it). Think it was a black wire.
SiriusProjects
All sorted. There was a white/blue wire which needed to be connected to the headunit for signalling the amp to switch on. Thanks for the help though. Appreciate it.
