Darren350
Hey guys, Here are some snaps of my car after using Dodo Juice Purple Haze. I think it really sets the car off great. These were done a few weeks ago so of course the car is filthy again. Will use Megs NXT this time to see what that can do! GIXXERUK
megs nxt metal polish, autosol etc they do look dirty ! if you have some wheel cleaner spray or iron x put that on and leave for a while and wash off before you polish, you may need wire wool but try the easy route first , tried a lot of metal polishes, not much between them it's down to elbow grease

SJ350z
Black cars are always hard to clean to a high standard I find. Looks like you did a great job

The Bounty Bar Kid
R222 won't last as long. I only use it prior to meets or shows.

What cleanser/polish do you find works best before the R222 mate? I'm going to use concours over the summer

Stu_2424
What are people's thoughts on DoDos Diamond White? Obv wouldn't be applicable for the OP since his car is black but I used it on my GM and loved it, very easy to apply and buff off.
-Bradders-
and the OP dont own the car anymore i dooo lol
samsniss350z
I use megs metal polish on my exhaust tips, but for the first clean after winter I use solvol as find it a little more aggressive this is then followed by megs. For the inside I use wire wool to start with the solvol and it brings them up a treat for the rest of spring and summer.
roscopervis
Megs Nxt wax is nowhere near as good as purple haze. Anyway, the finished look of the car comes 95% from the prep so a good polish and even a glaze if you're gonna continue with purple haze will work wonders. Megs #7 or Clearkote Red Moose Glaze under the wax will add wetness. Sent from my AT10LE-A using Tapatalk
