mouthwash
I'd buy it for that, I have no money so I can't, but I would if I did If I wasn't 'supposed' to be saving for a mortgage I would have probably taken the turbo kit off 3sjr but not for a retarded mark-up over what he paid for it. Adrian@TORQEN
..but not for a retarded mark-up over what he paid for it. Why don't we have some rules where only people interested to buy can comment on the for sale threads? What's the reason to comment like that if you're not actually looking to buy, don't you have anything better to do? Go on YouPorn for instance... It might help you calm down a bit... Jetpilot
I use a forum where the edit feature is only open for an hour or so after original posting for the reason that people were editing posts a long time after posting because they wanted to claim they hadnt said "x" or trying to cover things up. There were many examples, sale prices were changed, whats included in sale adds were changed, conditon etc condemning/threatening behaviour etc etc etc Imho there is no need to edit posts days and days after you posted. The buyer obviously was pleased and wanted people to know he got a bargain, but obviously that didnt seem such a good comment when it came back up for sale and i am sure we can all work out why otherwise there would be no need to edit his original post. Quite frankly it doesnt affect me and have seen it way too many times on forums.

Sales of goods act or something like that... As for the actual kit, its worth what is it worth. Regardless of how much he originally paid for it, i think most people would sell something for what is it worth, rather than what you paid for it, especially as he has sourced and provided a few extra bits so it is ready to go. Dont really see what the issue is to be honest. If a buyer is willing to pay X for something, who gives a monkeys about the rest of the alphabet. It feels a bit underhanded to me, personally I wouldn't buy something cheap that the forum was interested in and then sell it back to them for a lot more money. Who does 3sjr think he is? Daryl
Surely if more people were interested in it, they would have bid on ebay and driven the price up more. I have no idea how much extra the guy made over what he paid, but at the end of the day, things are only worth what people are willing to spend, and if he got a good deal out of it,then fair play, cant judge the guy for that. Aslong as the seller is happy with the price they paid, thats the most important thing.
