Broke down! Clutch pipe!?

So put my foot on the clutch the other day, dropped straight to the floor :(

Thought may have a leak in the clutch pipe or something else!

My mechanic just called me and said its the clutch flexi pipe split/broke

is this a common problem? just general wear and tear? :surrender:

Also is this the correct part to be ordering

Its a bummer though when your cars broke :(

Whats the average price people think a garage would charge?

£50 for the tow truck to garage?

£50 1 hour labour?

£25 pipe?

No it's not common, slave cylinder or master cylinder yes, iirc clarks do a braided line as a replacement

Those figures sound reasonable

Unless it has been rubbing on something it's most likely wear and tear, they usually bubble at a weak point and burst

You need fluid adding to the list
