cmp999
Hi, Just in the process of pricing up some new tyres, one of the places quoted me just short of £14 for new valves. I questioned this as the car has TPMS so does not have standard rubber valves. He then said that they replace the insert into the valve and this is what the charge is for. Has anybody had the same thing or are they trying to pull a fast one, after all that little insert must only be pennies!!! Cheers, Colin. gsexr
What do you know that only costs pennies in this day an age mate. Better than a flat tyre if the valve fails and all the aggro that goes with that.
cmp999
You misunderstand me, it is not the price of the valve inserts, more the fact that it may cause an issue with the TPMS if they start playing around with it. That is the reason I want to know if anyone has had any issues!!!!!
