Sy1441
Looking to buy a pressure washer for the car and to clean the decking. Budget £100 or thereabouts. Any recommendations?
Ricey
Karcher and Niflisk are pretty well thought of. Maplins have just run a deal for 69.99 on a good Niflisk model which is normally about 120 quid
Mudman
I got that one from aldi was 79.99. There's a post somewhere , Made by Kercher but not all accessories fit so need universals to be safe
GMballistic
I bought a Karcher K2 compact the other week. Very good so far and at £69.99 on a Halfords offer couldn't complain. Plus if you want to clean decking then you can get the same unit with a deck cleaning accessory for £99 at Halfords. Lexx
Mostly it's down to personally preference. I've used Bosch in the past and been happy, but just changed to a NIlfisk because it was cheap from Amazon/Maplin. Just make sure you get one with a metal pump head and not a plastic one as they tend to crack (although they can be replaced)
Sy1441
Was going to pop to homebase today buy one today after being at my mums for lunch and she happened to mention she had a Karcher K2. Given she's not washed her car since Christmas I've pinched it. Now to buy a decent snow foam lance!

Have a read of this (eBay link is in the thread for the snow foam gun I used); http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/84321-what-a-difference-a-snow-foam-gun-can-make/

GMballistic
Just bought that after reading your thread Happy days. It's a great piece of kit and very solidly built. The difference is unreal compared to how my old Halfords/karcher snow foam guns used to work. Let us know how you get on.

I'm after buying one on your recommendation GM....maybe should have enquired about a group buy seeing the number of interested parties on here! I was looking at this one http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/snow-foam-lance-various-fittings/prod_371.html Doesn't seem to be much different, except for a smaller neck and at least another £20 on top + vat

Look's no different to me really (ever such a slight difference). I'd save the extra cash if I was you and just get this one; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271418709605?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_sacat%3D0%26_from%3DR40%26_nkw%3D271418709605%26_rdc%3D1

Maplins have just run a deal for 69.99 on a good Niflisk model which is normally about 120 quid bought the Nilfisk C110.4 xtra from Maplin looks great though cant test as the inline filter is missing. they should replace when i go back there this evening. it came with the patio cleaner for £59.
Sy1441
The karcher I pinched didn't work so went and bought the nilfisk from maplin. Done the decking with it and it made short work of the green algae that had grown on it over winter. Will they snow foam lance I bought fit?? Sy1441
How much was it from maplin dude? Was £59.99 reduced from £129.99, quite impressed with it for the price. They had both the ones with and without the extra patio cleaner part for the same price. Edited April 22, 2014 by Sy1441

You can buy the correct adapter for a Nilfisk to fit if you bought one that fits a Karcher.
