wizurd
I've just double checked and it says in the motordyne instructions to start at 40 inch pounds. thats tiny though - i can't even find a torque wrench that starts that low. can anyone confirm i'm not just getting the wrong end of the stick? mattross1313
When we were putting my engine back together some of those torque settings started off silly low, almost impossibly low. So I think Chris just nipped them tight, and then moved up through the range according to the book
Rosssco
That equivalent to 4.5nm or 3.3 lb/ft, so just tighten them up till they are tight basically (if that makes sense) with a small ratchet. Wasso
All I do is use a handheld screwdriver with the relevant socket piece. Lightly tighten all by hand so that when you torque you're basically at stage one of the tightening routine.
